Ok, So I wasn't expecting to add more to this already said theme. But here is a new installment with a issue I have been seeing around more recently.
Just Because you do something "First" Doesn't mean no one easel can do that same thing or something similar. That is like Saying a Lets Player can't play a game because someone already played it. But just because someone already played that game doesn't mean they can't give a different reaction or review They are different people with different personality and ideas.
I shouldn't have to be on DA for 11+ years to draw a Dog in a style and prove I have done it before "insert name here" I feel

Teen Titans Go! and why it's so insulting
THE FOLLOWING IS A JOURNAL ENTRY EXPLAINING THE PURPOSE OF TEEN TITANS GO! BASED ON RESEARCH I HAVE DONE. APPROACH THIS WITH AN OPEN MIND.
Back in the 2Ks, there was a little show on Cartoon Network that was seemingly made to cash-in on the success of the anime craze at the time. This show took five out of eight superheroes from a comic series lots of people loved, especially in the 80's, and made a TV show that is now widely regarded as among the best shows produced by DC and Warner Bros. Entertainment. That show is Teen Titans, and what a show it was.
The show had it all. Teen Titans had plot, it had character depth and development, it ha

:bulletred: Preparing for the Artist Alley can be a little stressful. There are so many questions, such as:
What kind of artwork should I do?
What kind of merchandise sells well?
How am I going to display my stuff?
Where am I going to get this all done...?!
:bulletred: The first three questions are a little tricky t

Artist Alley: My First Time!
:bulletred: Many of us have been to some form of comic or anime convention and traveled through the artist alley. The first time I ever went to a convention was WonderCon in San Francisco, California, and the first place I stopped was at the artist alley. I remember being so surprised that there was actually a place completely devoted to artists. After browsing through the artist alley and meeting some of the artists, I thought to myself, “One day, you

Ancient Egyptian Art and Mythology
Author's Note
Ancient Egypt was a HUGE society with a rich culture and a highly developed religion. Egypt is one of the most famous ancient cultures because of its unique funerary practices and its incredible architectural feats. Now some of you are reading this because you're interested in Ancient Egyptian art and others of you are (like me) take an art history course and reading this to help study. I will be tailoring this journal for those taking an art history course but no one wants to be bogged down with bland information so I'll try to keep this interesting (not that it's hard because it's ANCIENT EGYPT!)
Note that dates aren't t

A New Wind Lifts Storytelling
First imagined as a bedtime tale for his son by Kenneth Grahame in 1908, The Wind in the Willows has remained in the top twenty children’s stories ever since. But things have been getting weird out in the Willows, as the new comic on deviantART, Weirding Willows, will attest to.
Badger, Mole, Ratty and Mr. Toad are back… but they’re joined by Alice, Frankenstein’s Monster, Mowgli, The White Rabbit, Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny as they defend the world from the Wicked Witch of the West, Doctor Moreau, the Mad Hatter, Mister Hyde and the Queen of

They both have layers! And they both can make you cry. The deviantART journals have two different structures. The original 'Old School' layout where everything is named .journalbox, etc. And my preference, the newer gruze structure. I prefer the gr

Guidelines to Starting your Own Crafting Business
So you make cute crafts, and probably someone offered you money for them. Maybe you need the money, and if you're like me, you need it to buy more crafting supplies. Whatever the reason, starting your own crafty business is a decisions that you should take seriously... it's not as easy as opening an Etsy account and setting some random prices for your work. There is a lot of things to consider to keep the business going, your money safe, your name clean, and your costumers happy.
